Some give you free advertising and some give you a discount on advertising. They also offer free referrals. See, when people go to the site without a referral one of the Gold Members referrral link is randomly chosen and if that person signs up and it's your referral link, you just got a free referral. A Gold Membership is well worth it. I actually suggest you purchase a Gold Membership with every site, it's well worth it.
